Artisan's Studios Newsletter #2
August 7th, 2024
Exciting Updates and Collaborations:
  • As we work tirelessly on our new website, Artisan's Studios, I'm thrilled to share some miraculous news with you.
We have received approval to use Jennifer Maker's name and logo on our website's Partner's page.
This is a tremendous honor for us, as Jennifer Maker has significantly influenced my journey in the arts and crafts industry.
Jennifer is a true Maker, with over 35+ million crafters, she can't do this alone. Her team of 20 members is excited to head to work daily.
She crafts everything from furniture, clothing, and artwork to award-winning books, websites, and graphics.
She and her fiancé Greg are building a 35,000 sq. ft. Arts and Crafts Studio in Ann Arbor, MI, on the 100-acre Maker Farm (Name of the Studio) they purchased last year.
You can watch her and her fiancé Greg's updated Video on YouTube, from the July 24th Episode.
  • Why is this important news?
Being able to feature her name and logo on our site is our way of expressing gratitude for her support over the past four years. Advance with Jennifer Maker, I will be participating in this New Class as a Member to learn New arts and crafts ideas from her.
    • Blog by tmax - Blog #2
Don't miss the second installment of Blog by tmax, which will be released on Thursday afternoon, August 8th at 8:00 am MST.

    • Arizona State Fair – 140th Birthday Bash Party
We're counting down the days to the 140th Birthday Bash Party at the Arizona State Fair, just forty-nine days away!
  • Flash Sale to Celebrating 140 years from Artisan's Studios
On Opening Day September 20th thru September 23rd  Artisan's Studios will
offer 75% Off ALL Farmer's Market Items with a Special Price Tag Celebrating the Birthday Bash Party to ALL Fairgoers. This would be a perfect time to get some early Holiday Season Shopping done.
  • New this year at the Arizona State Fair:
The one thing I learned last year from the fairgoers, is they didn't want to purchase anything from me because they would have to carry that Item all day long.
  • We have solved that issue.
The fairgoer will now receive a Pick-Up Ticket for them to be picked up before you go home for the day. Just go to the Front Desk of the Home Arts and hand them your pick-up ticket. If you forget to pick up your purchase, I will personally call you and we will get it delivered to you the next day.
  • Did you know this?
The State Fair holds the record as the longest-running event in Arizona's history.
This year, they are expecting an 8/10% increase in fairgoers compared to previous years, so it's highly recommended to purchase your tickets online in advance.
  • Not 10, but, 25!
In line with this grand celebration, I’m excited to announce that I will be entering around 25 handcrafted items into the Home Arts Exhibit, Photography Exhibit, and Fine Arts Exhibit.
Last year, I entered 10 designs and this year, I’m aiming higher.
My goal is to showcase my talents and skills to Arizona and strive for the coveted BIG Blue Ribbon Overall Arizona State Fair Winner.
So, if you're planning to attend the fair, make sure to visit and cheer for tmax!
  • Special Thanks!
Lastly, I want to extend a special thanks to my cousin, Cassidy Lujan, and her husband, Joseph McClellan, owners of the Plant Mill on Mill Ave in Tempe, AZ.
Cassidy, a Shopify Partner, has been instrumental in helping me build the Artisan's Studios website.
Their support has been invaluable in bringing this project to life.
Just last Sunday, Cassidy designed a new Logo in
25 minutes. It is perfect as she and I came up with the colors and she did the rest.
  • That’s it for now!
These handcrafted creations are part of the Tubby Collection Series
which will be Showcased at The 140th Birthday Bash Party at the State Fair.
Stay creative, tmax
